NOVATEK is the largest producer of liquefied natural gas in Russia. The company is one of the key participants in the energy transition, a process aimed at maintaining global environmental and climate resilience, using cleaner energy sources. The company's annual report is dedicated to this topic.
The design concept is based on abstract compositions built on the works of the Russian avant-garde — as a metaphor for moving forward, a continuous process of development, building a better future. The avant-garde era presented the world with a revolutionary vision of art, a transformation of established traditions, similar to how NOVATEK implements innovative solutions today to ensure the global energy transition. Dynamic geometric shapes also represent the real construction of modern technological LNG plants, which are the basis of the company's production activity.
The design communication presents the main motto: «Constructing future energy transition today», focusing on the current process. The graphic on the cover of the report illustrates the idea of energy transition and the key role of natural gas in it.
Photos of natural and industrial textures show the company's balanced interaction with the flora and fauna of the regions in which it operates.
