WESTFORD — Six of the Class of 2020 graduates from Nashoba Valley Technical High School actually earned two diplomas this past spring.

The six graduates participated in the Dual Enrollment, which allows high-school juniors and seniors to attend college full time to earn their Associate degrees while still enrolled in high school.

Following is a look at the students who received diplomas and technical certificates from Nashoba Tech, as well as Associate degrees from Middlesex Community College.

Paul Baker

Paul Baker of Chelmsford, Engineering Technology. At Nashoba Tech, Paul was a consistent honor-roll student. At Senior Awards Night, he received the President’s Award for Academic Excellence and the Friends of Nashoba Scholarship. He also qualified for the John & Abigail Adams Scholarship for his performance on the MCAS. At MCC, Paul served as a supplemental instruction leader.

Justin Debeaucourt

Justin Debeaucourt of Chelmsford, Engineering Technology. At Nashoba Tech, Justin was inducted into both the National Honor Society and the National Technical Honor Society, and was a consistent honor-roll student. As a sophomore, he earned a bronze medal in Robotics & Automation Technology at the SkillsUSA District Conference. At Senior Awards Night, he received the President’s Award for Academic Excellence and the DCU Scholarship. He also qualified for the John & Abigail Adams Scholarship for his performance on the MCAS.

Olivia L’Italien

Olivia L’Italien of Chelmsford, Dental Assisting. At Nashoba Tech, she was a high-honors student. At Senior Awards Night, she received the Technical Proficiency Award for Dental Assisting and the DCU Scholarship. She plans to attend Massachusetts College of Pharmacy.

Ethan Reed

Ethan Reed of Pepperell, Biotechnology. At Nashoba Tech, he was a high-honors student, was inducted into the National Honor Society, and was one of three students selected to represent the school at Early College Advocacy Day at the Statehouse in Boston. He was named a Student of the Month as a sophomore. At Senior Awards Night, Ethan received the Dr. Judith L. Klimkiewicz Award, the Academic Award for Science, the President’s Award for Academic Excellence and the Friends of Nashoba Scholarship. He also qualified for the John & Abigail Adams Scholarship for his performance on the MCAS. At MCC, Ethan was a Commonwealth Honors Scholar. He plans to attend UMass Amherst.

Patrick Saber

Patrick Saber of Chelmsford, Engineering Technology. At Nashoba Tech, he was a consistent high-honors student. At Senior Awards Night, he received the President’s Award for Academic Excellence. He also qualified for the John & Abigail Adams Scholarship for his performance on the MCAS. He is certified in SolidWorks CSWA and Autodesk Inventor. He plans to attend UMass Lowell to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, then earn a Master’s degree.

Shane Yost

Shane Yost of Pepperell, Health Assisting. At Nashoba Tech, he was inducted into the National Honor Society and was a consistent high-honors student. At Senior Awards Night, he received the Technical Profiency Award for Health Assisting, the Massachusetts Vocational Association’s Presidential Certificate of Merit, the Community Service Award, the President’s Award for Academic Excellence and the Pepperell Garden Club Scholarship. He also qualified for the John & Abigail Adams Scholarship for his performance on the MCAS. Shane is also an Eagle Scout. At MCC, he was a Commonwealth Honors Scholar and a supplemental instruction leader.
